As someone who remembers the President hammering Congress for not passing the free trade agreements on numerous occasions, it is rather shocking that apparently HE has been the main roadblock. In order for Congress to vote on them, he must first submit them to Congress, which is something he hasn't done. I guess it's more important for him to have something to hammer Republicans with (he really doesn't have much anymore) and God forbid anything interrupt his vacation (as if he doesn't have enough of them). So much for putting "country before party". Although, I should know by now that much of the content of his speeches is pure fantasy (see here, here, here and here).
