This is just unbelievable, but there were no Marines assigned to guard our Benghazi consulate, the site of the murder of 4 Americans, including our Ambassador to Libya. How the hell is this possible? It's been less than a year since the end of the Libyan civil war and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict repercussions from Qaddafi's killing from some of his former allies. Or from just outright Islamist terrorists who hate Americans who are currently armed to the teeth because of all the weapons that flooded the country during the war. Also, given that the Libyan national who was Al-Qaeda's #2 had just recently been killed by the US, you would have expected revenge attacks at some point no? Maybe if Obama didn't spend so much time campaigning and golfing rather than actually having a back-and-forth brief by our intelligence community, maybe someone would have been more alert. But it's pretty clear he isn't actually interested in governing, as you can see by the fact that he told Bibi he couldn't meet with him so that he could do Letterman. He is more interested in the trappings of power (and keeping them) than anything else.
I can't wait until we have a real President.
